Tough Coat Wipe-On Poly by Fusion Mineral Paint-Gloss or Matte
Perfect for those high traffic areas that require extra durability against every day wear and tear, water damage, and food stains, Fusion's Clear Tough Coat Wipe-on Poly is a clear, non-yellowing, water-based, wipe on sealer is easily applied with an applicator pad and dries to a glossy or matte finish, depending on which type you choose to use.
The 16.9 oz./500 mL bottle will cover about 75 Square feet.
Ensure the poly is well-mixed prior to use by gently turning the bottle upside down for a few minutes. This will ensure even distribution of the gloss finishing agents that settled on the bottom of the bottle. Shaking the bottle will introduce unwanted bubbles that can affect your final finish.
If applying to a recently painted surface, allow 12 to 24 hours of drying time before applying. For best results use an applicator pad cloth and apply 2 coats, waiting 2 to 4 hours between coats. Humid areas more time may be required.
NOTE: Fusion's Clear Tough Coat Wipe-on Poly may make darker colors appear cloudy. This is due to Fusion's Tough Coat drying quickly, and trapping water vapor between the paint and the Tough Coat. Instead, Fusion recommends Fusion Beeswax Finish or Fusion Natural (Clear) Stain and Finishing Oil for use as a top coat on darker colors.
